We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as cheques and e-transfers. However, there is a 2% administration fee for credit card purchases

  • Installations require a 50% deposit to schedule your job
  • Rentals require 100% payment to book a time.
  • Pre-cut turf purchases or full roll purchases require 100% payment to order.

Yes, AVIVA® TURF carries a 15 year product warranty and a 5-year installation warranty. See our warranty and maintenance page for details.

High efficiency window can cause burn marks on the grass and is not covered under warranty.  A protective film can to added to high efficiency windows to minimize this issue. Proper maintenance is needed to keep your artificial grass in top shape. See our maintenance page to see how to care for artificial lawns.

If you have burrowing animals in your yard you must install a barrier between the sand base and turf to stop these animals from trying to burrow to the top.  If you don’t have this barrier installed damage caused by these animals will not be covered. Sub grade/native soil settlement resulting in ground movement is not covered. Costs associated with additional material needed to fix the installation, like nails, more sand, woodworking are not included.

You would contact us by email (info@fg-lawns.com) or text (604-430-5296) and give us a description of why you think you have a warranty issue.  Submit pictures to support your claim along with your name, address, date of purchase, phone number and invoice number.  We will contact you to schedule someone to come out to look at your issue. Please note that there is a $150.00 deductible to begin a warranty claim.

AVIVA TURF® is warrantied for 15 years, which includes a fade resistant warranty meaning it will only fade less than 10% over 10 years.

Yes the turf is similar to sand or concrete and will warm up in the heat.  If you want to walk or play on it, just cool in down with a sprinkler or hose and enjoy the summer sun.

If you’re worried about your neighbour cutting your artificial grass with their lawnmower there is a solution. We will install PVC edgers or simply use a pressure treated 4×4 wood post(s) anchored into place with rebar.  You could even have a low course of brick to act as a barrier.

You should treat your turf like carpet and clean up after you dog does his business on it. We stock pet deodorizer materials that you can use to neutralize if any odours occur.  You can see these products on our Artificial Turf Accessories and Services. These products are eco friendly and safe for use around children and pets.

No.  Power wash pressure is much too strong and it will damage the blades of grass on artificial turf.

Artificial turf is low maintenance. In shady areas, we recommend you clean your turf with ecofriendly soap along with a bristle broom and water. You can do this in the spring and fall. We also offer grass-cleaning service. Visit our care & maintenance page for more information.

If you have a mole problem then we can place aluminum mesh after we excavate 5” of dirt but before the base prep is laid. There is an additional cost of approximately $2.50/sq. ft. Your 5 years installation warranty will only cover mole damage if you had the mole mesh installed.

AVIVA TURF® is made for the Canadian climate. The turf will frost up like natural grass without harming the turf. Road salt will not harm the artificial turf at all. Just be careful when shovelling snow, as a sharp edge shovel could pierce the turf.

We have step-by-step instructions on how to install artificial grass on our website. It’s not difficult, however it is labour intense and you will have to dispose of the soil and existing ground cover yourself, along with bringing in your own base prep materials.

  • Choose the turf you want by filling our the form for samples 
  • Determine how much turf you need and if you require us to do the cuts for you.
  • Payment will be required in full before we can begin to assemble your 48 hours advance notice is needed otherwise a rush fee may apply.
  • Your order will be delivered in Metro Vancouver for a nominal fee ($75 to $150) depending on location.
  • We also have shipping locations all across Canada, and delivery from those locations can also be arranged. Delivery charges would apply based on size, weight and location. Ask for a quote.

Yes you can, as chlorine will not discolour artificial turf.

You can either remove the sprinkler heads and cap the lines off, or you can keep the sprinkler heads as is. During installation of the artificial grass, we will cut around the sprinkler heads, leaving them exposed. You can then still use them to water nearby flowerbeds or to cool off your grass during the hotter summer months.

No, we do all the work ourselves and our installers are employees of FG Lawns. We have all the necessary licences and insurance to operate in BC and we are also covered by WorkSafe BC and carry liability insurance too.

Contact our office or click here so we can schedule an estimate. Once the quote is done we require a 50% deposit to schedule your project. You will be given the first available date or you can choose a later one, that might be more convenient for you. All installations are weather dependent so delays could happen, as we can’t work in heavy rain or freezing temperatures.

Yes we can do that! Our turfs come in 15’ widths and can to ordered in any length you want. The width cuts can also be done but there is a cutting fee. Please contact us for more details regarding this service. Call or text 604-430-5296

Yes, we will install turf bought from other suppliers. The turf must be new and you must have enough to do your entire project.  We charge $50.00 to quote on this service, however if you decide to go ahead and install with us we will reimburse this fee.

No, it is not required on the turfs we sell. In years past infill was required to assist the turf blades to stand up taller, however technology has advanced and today premiums artificial turfs have stronger blades and more thatch which allows the blades to stay upright on their own. The disadvantage of using silica sand is that it can be a receptacle for spores to cling to and grow weeds.
